 Create a new Flash Intro |
|
| Click the ‘Select’ button of the intro library you want, to start customizing and creating a new WebSmartz 2.2 intro. The ‘Save As’ dialog box opens. Assign a name to your intro and save it locally on your system. This will be saved in the native .wpx format of WebSmartz 2.2. On making changes in the intro, click ‘Save Project’ in the top bar. This will update the .wpx file for you to edit and reuse as many times as you want. |

| Click on ‘Online Intro Viewer’ to view the entire range of intros available with the purchased version. |

| Edit a Previous Intro |
|
| Click the ’Edit Previous Intro’ button, to open and edit a previous WebSmartz 2.2 intro that you have created. |
|
| Note-You can save the intro in editable mode by clicking the ’Save Project’ button on the top bar as you customize the intro. It is then saved on your system in the .wpx format. Also whenever you publish your intro, it is automatically saved as a .wpx file that can be opened, edited and reused later. |

| Step 1: Select Intro Style |

Select an intro from the Web Smartz intros (displayed as thumbnails) for customization as per your needs. Preview and save your preference by clicking on the intro you want displayed. The window in the application will display your selected intro. In the text fields under keywords 1-5, type in the text you want to display in the intro. These could be buzzwords or any key phrase about your company or anything else you want to display.
Text Effects- Under every keyword there is an Options button which if clicked on allows you to select and apply various text effects. Text effects include options of changing dimensions, color of text, fade effect, and rotate. The Preview window gives you a preview of any changes made by you. Once you finalize your choice click on ‘Save Settings’ button and then on ‘Close Window’ button. |

| Step 2: Select Intro Settings |

| By clicking on the various options it is possible for you to change the intros background color, enable right click, and choose flash quality and dimensions. Click on ‘Browse’ button to choose the loader you want. You can also feed in the loader text. Upload logo allows you to feed your company’s logo. |

Website URL– Here you can key in the online destination where the viewer will go after clicking the ‘Enter’ button in the intro.
Button styles- Select the radio button of the button style preferred from our button library. Then you can enter the text of the button as well.
Select Buttons-You have a choice of displaying Skip Intro and Replay buttons. Select the checkboxes of the buttons you want to display. |

| Step 3: Select Intro Assets |

| Intro assets give you the liberty of image selection for your intro (depending on the number of images allowed in the intro). |

| If you are not satisfied with the default music library you can click the ‘Browse’ button to search for and select an alternative music loop from our music library. After selection of the music you want, click on ‘Save Settings’ button and then on ‘Close Window’ button. |

| Step 4: HTML Settings |

| Click the ‘HTML settings’ button to exercise HTML options for your intros. |

| Background of intro |
|
| Click the color icon to open the color palette. Click the desired color from the palette to specify the color of the Web page that will display your intro online. |

| Page Name |
|
| Provide name for HTML page which is going to be created. |
|
| Page Title |
|
| Provide title of HTML page. |
|
| Window Target |
|
| Window target decides the mode in which the web page will open be it-self, parent, top, blank. |

| Copyright |

| If you have any copyright text which you want to see in your intro, enter it in this box. Click on the 'browse' button for the color selection of the layout of your intro. |

The ‘back to main’ button takes you back to the opening screen of the application where you have the option of editing a WebSmartz 2.2 intro or create a new one. |

Save Project |

| |
The ‘Save Project’ button in the top bar allows saving the project in .wpx format and makes the intro and its data available for editing and reuse at a later date. |

Save As |

|
| |
Click the ‘Save As’ button to save a copy of your created intro in .wpx format. You can do this in case you need a back up. |

Publish Intro |
|
|
| |
After finishing the customization options, click the 'Publish Intro' button at the bottom. |

| Select a layout to customize from the WebSmartz 2.2 website styles (displayed as thumbnails). |

| Write your text in the adjoining window which you want displayed in your website. Various tools for editing the text are provided in the top bar like - left , right and centre alignment options, changing the dimensions, choosing text color etc. |

| Click on 'Preview in Browser' button, to view all the changes you may have made to customize the website to your requirements. |

| Click on 'Publish' button to publish your customized website. |
